OK, so the Bush-bashers are back in business, only hours after the capture of Saddam Hussein. Far from congratulating the Bush administration for a job well done, the liberal voices rise, howling in protest–to what? That Hussein was not a terrorist? That he did not support the Palestinian homicide bombers by giving the families of the “martyrs” $25,000 a piece, and $10,000 for the wounded-but-not-killed martyrs?

But of course, supporting terrorism isn’t terrorism, is it? Is killing nearly 1 million people terrorism?

These voices complain that Hussein didn’t destroy the twin towers–but can they deny that he gave money to those organizations that supported this horrible event? And if so, where is their proof?

The plain truth of the matter is that they are not truly upset about the capture of Hussein. They are not upset about what they call “Bush’s lies” (again, evidence is sadly lacking in these allegations).

They are upset because a Republican president was fairly voted into office, the economy is on a major rebound, the terrorists are being caught–yes, even in Afghanistan–and that we are living in a safer world.

In short, they are upset because of President Bush’s success.
