Emma “Joan” C. Elstner, of Longmont, CO, formerly of Chicago, IL and Port Charlotte, FL. Born Oct. 24, 1914 in Grand Haven, MI, she died Dec. 17, 2003. Joan was the beloved wife of Edward T. Elstner for 42 years; loving mother of Shirlee; sister-in-law of Marjorie Elstner, Dennis Potter, Bob and Betty Elstner and Dorothy Kromeich; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and godmother of Jerry Potter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward. Memorial Services 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003 at Longmont Regent Retirement Residence, 2210 Main St., Longmont.
