Lorraine “Lorry” Marek, age 81, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Chicago, IL, born October 2, 1922, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2003. She was the beloved wife of Chester Marek, Las Vegas, NV; loving mother of Jackie Quigley, Los Angeles, CA, and Ron Raschke, Ojai, CA; and cherished sister of Phyllis Palac, La Grange Park, IL, and Ken Bochat, Palatine, IL. She was on the Board of Directors of Senior Tripsters. She was a Eucharistic Minister for Christ the King Catholic Community Church; a member of Telephone Pioneers; and Emaculate Alumanae Association. She was a retired Commercial Service Rep. for the telephone company. Vigil Service will be held Thursday, January 8, 2004, 5 p.m., at Christ the King Catholic Community Church. A Memorial service will be Friday, January 9, 2004, 1 p.m., at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the American Heart Association.
