Loving husband of the late Mary Palmer Van Santen; dear father of Jay Palmer Van Santen and Laura Van Santen Jones; beloved grandfather of Matthew Van Santen Jones and Erica Mary Jones. Memorial services 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2003 at Fox Valley Presbyterian Church, 227 East Side Dr., Geneva, IL 60134. Interment will be private. Memorial visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. from the Yurs-Wittenberg Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St. (Rte. 38), Geneva. Contributions may be made to the Mary Palmer Van Santen Scholarship Fund at the Fox Valley Presbyterian Church, 227 East Side Dr., Geneva, IL 60134. He established this fund to provide scholarships for youth musical education.
