The supporters of Bears coach Dick Jauron mention how great an improvement his team has shown in the second half of the season. If I follow this logic correctly, then coach Jauron could have improved his job security even further by being even less prepared on opening day and by losing even more humiliatingly and pathetically to the 49ers, Packers and Vikings at the beginning of the season.
