Mark Steven Tibbits. To our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend; your life was such a gift to us all, and we will always keep you with us in our hearts. We love you so much and look forward to the day we can meet again. All our love! Mark passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003 from injuries sustained while skiing. He was born Dec. 15, 1949 in Chicago, IL to Arthur “Steve” R. Tibbits and Margaret C. Bradford Tibbits. He married Inga-Britt Lindgren on April 6, 1974 in Stockholm, Sweden. He is survived by his loving wife, Inga-Britt of Park City, UT; father of Rebecca of Hermosa Beach, CA, Erik of Park City, UT, and Paul of Fort Collins, CO; son of Margaret Tibbits of Chicago; and brother of Bradford (Nancy) Tibbits of Elmwood Park; he is preceded in death by his father Arthur (Steve). A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 675 E. Algonquin Rd., in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mark’s honor to the Brain Trauma Foundation at 523 E. 72nd St. New York, NY 10021.
