Robert S. Nielsen, of Wales, formerly of Hartland, passed away December 26, 2003 at his home, surrounded by his family, after an eight month battle with cancer. He was 55 years old. He was born April 12, 1948 in Chicago, IL to parents Kay and the late Robert W. Nielsen. He worked as the Vice President of Engineering at Camtronics Medical Systems in Hartland. He enjoyed boating, fishing, grilling, reading, and spending time at the family cabin in northern Wisconsin. He served on the USS Kittyhawk during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Vietnam Veteran’s of America Chapter 635 in Oconomowoc. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Vicky; his children Laura, Karen (Dan) Buehrle, and Peter; his brother Tom (Vickie) Nielsen of Perth, Australia. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 30 at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 200 Richard Street, Waukesha, WI. Friends may visit at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Services. Private burial at Stone Bank Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to The Kidney Cancer Association or the Vietnam Veteran’s of America Chapter 635, Oconomowoc.
