Looks like girls in the UK are willing to forgive and forget Christina Aguilera’s look at the European video music awards.
The pop star was voted “biggest inspiration” by readers of teen magazine Sugar, according to ananova.com. Aguilera was praised in the upcoming February issue for being a “role model with breathtaking talent who isn’t afraid to be who she is.”
The Drrrty queen beat out last year’s winner, Pink, and rival Britney Spears, who came in fifth. (Apparently, Madonna did not participate in this year’s poll.)
Aguilera thanked her British fans after she won, calling the award “an honor.”
“Being in the UK has been a highlight of my year,” she said.
