Janet Mae Walbridge, 61, of Earlysville, Virginia, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, in UVA Hospital. Born May 21, 1942 in Chicago, daughter of the late Charles Walbridge and Blanche Swedberg Walbridge. She is survived by her sister Barbara June Rollins; niece Karen Leslie Proffitt, Kirsten Schramm and Linda Kay Rollins; and many nieces and nephews; special friend, Johanna Hallstrom of Chicago. Janet resided, for the past ten years, with her niece and caregivers Karen and William and their children, who will miss her dearly. She was employed by United Airlines for 34 years. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to National Wildlife Foundation. Interment will follow at a later date in Chicago. Memorial will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church of Desplaines, IL, 675 East Algonquin Rd., at 3 p.m. Jan. 4, 2004. 847-827-6656.
