Wesley Dean Slagle, 69, of Benton, KY, formerly of Wayne/McHenry, IL, died Dec. 22, 2003 in Paducah, KY. Born May 3, 1934 in Missouri, he was Owner of Dean’s Restaurant Supplies, Broadview, IL. Later he was an Insurance Agent for AAA and Metropolitan Life. He retired to Kentucky in 1994. Survivors include son Dean Slagle of Cortland, IL and daughters Cherie (Mark) Hamilton of Elgin, IL and Linda Minor of Dunnellon, FL; sister Shirley Smith of Lombard, IL and brother Charles (Rose) Slagle of Cape Giradeau, MO; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
