Barbara M. Sprouse, 74, died 1:30 p.m., Sunday December 21, 2003 at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Barbara was born July 22, 1929 in Chicago to Peter and Emma (Sjholm) Anderson. She married Glen Sprouse on September 6, 1958 in Chicago. Glen survives in Marion. Survivors include husband, Glen Sprouse of Marion; son, George B. Sprouse of Chicago. Her parents; half brother, Marshall Anderson; and half sister, Lowella Reeder, preceded her in death. It was her request that her body be donated to medical science. There will be a memorial service at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marion on Saturday January 3, 2004 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Marlin Otte officiating.
