Laura Hoffman, nee Suzewits, age 93, of Decatur and Lombard. Beloved wife of the late Chester; loving mother of the late Larry (Patricia) Hoffman; devoted grandmother of Aaron and Alicia; cherished sister of Irene and Leona “Lee” Suzewits; preceded by the lates Elmer (the late Emma), Robert (the late Bernice), and Arthur (the late Claudine) Suzewits; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Employed for 25 years as a seamstress for Home Manufacturing Co., Decatur. Active with Lombard’s Senior Center as one of their finest quilters. Interests included sewing, gardening, quilting and reading. Visitation Friday, 6 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd., (3 blks. S. of Roosevelt Rd.)
