Mark “Rudderham” Painter, 37, died December 25, 2003 suddenly. Born May 6, 1966 in Melrose Park, IL, son of Philip and Joanne Painter. He attended Shady Lane Grade School and Fox Lake High School. He was employed by union local #20 Brick Layers as a mason. Married Linda Potter March 27, 1999 in Ocho Rio, Jamaica. Surviving is wife, Linda; two stepchildren Phillip Cline of Racine, WI and Angela Cline of St. Cloud, FL; his mother, Joanne Schmidt of Dixon, IL; his sister, Lisa (Tom) Dunham; a niece, Kiernan Dunham; his nephews, Aidan and Declan Dunham; his aunt, Cheryl (Jim) Martini; and his cousin, Kim. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and special friend, Nipper. Memorial services will be Jan. 24, 2004 at St. Mary of the Woods Church, Chicago. Cremation rites have been accorded with arrangements by McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, Rock Falls, IL.
