Richard O. Plummer, 77, of Loda, IL, formerly of Chicago, beloved husband of Marlene A. Plummer, nee Marello; loving father of Karen (Jim) Coyle, New Lenox, Daniel Plummer, Crown Point, IN and Laura (Brian) Marlier, Lake Forest; seven cherished grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; three dear sisters, Gloria (Alan) Leonard, San Diego, CA, Geraldine Pavia, Lincolnwood and Dorothy (Robert) Hayes, Downers Grove. His parents and brother, Colonel Kenneth Plummer preceded him in death. Memorial Service Saturday, 2 p.m. at Hickory Creek Community Church, Frankfort 815-469-9496 with a reception to follow.
