G. Ralph Scott, age 76. In 1945, Mr. Scott graduated from Lake Forest Academy. He then attended Williams College in Williamsburg, Massachusetts and later transferred to Indiana University, graduating in 1950. He worked for several years for the Gary-Post Tribune and continued to be a freelance writer in Chicago. In 1965, he moved to Elburn and worked for Elburn Farm Equiptment and later, Monitor Manufacturing. His hobbies included, active member for Sports Car Club of America, a member of E.A.A. and an avid fisherman. Loving husband of Sandra; beloved father of Elizabeth (Mark) Schuster; cherished grandfather of Alexandra, Abigail and Jacob. Funeral service will be 7 p.m. at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, (Rt.64 and Rt.25) St. Charles. Interment will be private. Visitation will be Saturday, from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Elburn Fire Department, attention Chief Callaghan, P.O.
