Wendell J. Wellick, 73, a lifelong resident of Wheaton, beloved husband for 52 years of Joan; dear father of Mark (Tina) Wellick, Kirk (Karen) Wellick, and Craig Wellick; proud grandfather of Melissa, Matthew, Patrick, Jessica, Brad, Amanda, and Alexis; brother of the late Beverly Lies; and uncle of Leslie (Linda) Lies, and a number of other nephews and nieces. Born April 25, 1930 in Geneva, Mr. Wellick was a 50-year member of the Local 150 Operating Engineers. Visitation Thursday, Jan. 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N.
