Robert L. Golz, 69, of Montgomery, passed away on Tuesday morning, December 30, 2003 at home. He was born in Aurora on October 30, 1934, a son of the late Herbert and Margaret (Gillam) Golz. He worked as the VP of Manufacturing for Equipto Electronics from 1960-1976; moving to Vice President and General Manager from 1976-1979, becoming the President and CEO from 1979-1999 and was presently the Chairman of the Board. His family members include: his wife of 47 years, Joyce of Montgomery; a son, Steve (Annette) Golz of Montgomery; four grandchildren, Travis and Tyler, Parker and Dana; a brother, Galen (Suzanne) Golz of Minnesota and a cousin, Darlene Kopke. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2004 at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Reverend Matt Larson and Reverend Tom DeVore will officiate and burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park.
