Angeline Rapacz, age 84, of Elgin, IL, formerly of Adams, WI, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003 at the Sun Grove Village Care Center in Peoria, IL. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, 2004 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Adams. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery. Angeline was born May 30, 1919 to Stanley and Mary, nee Oleniak, Kwasniewski in Brooklyn, NY. She married John Edward Rapacz on July 5, 1947 in Maryland. John preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1995. Survivors include daughter Virginia Steele, Elgin, IL; sister Irene Ekren, Peoria, AZ; grandchildren Melisa Steele, Amanda Steele and Sara (Erik) Kulesza; greatgrandchildren Alayna Steele and Anelece Mendoza; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be at Roseberry’s Funeral Home of Friendship, WI, 608-339-3551 from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday. A prayer service will be recited at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
