Mildred Marchello, 76, of Houston, passed away on December 30, 2003. Born in Fremont, Michigan on June 11, 1927 to Standish and Amanda McDonald. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired nurse. Survivors include her son, Maurice Michael Marchello and wife Mary, daughter Sandra Marchello Stewart and husband James; grandchildren, Alan and Kevan Stewart and Randi and Lindsay Marchello; brother, Donald McDonald, sisters, Ruth Ellis and Helen Slaughter, and sister-in-law, Marcia Panozzo. Her funeral service will be held in the chapel of The Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 West 111th St., Alsip, Illinois, on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations, in her name, be made to your local chapter of The American Diabetes Association.
