Susan Babb, age 52 years, of Oak Park, IL, beloved wife of Philip Baranowski; mother of Alida and Julia Baranowski; sister of Doug and Toby Babb, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2003 after a four-year battle with cancer. Born in Milwaukee, Susan was a 1974 graduate of Colorado College, earned a Masters degree in History and Education from the University of Chicago, and received a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. In private practice since 1991, she previously held positions in Child Psychology at the University of Chicago and the Institute for Juvenile Research. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 9, 4 p.m. at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 545 S. East Avenue, Oak Park, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Susan’s memory to the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center at Loyola Medical Center, Maywood, Illinois. “She was so smart, so funny, so honest.
