What’s a fast way to instant immortality? Become a bobblehead doll.
At www.bobbleme.com, you can buy dolls with your face, your body–and of course, a very bouncy head. To order, you need to upload a mug shot, a side shot of your face and a full body photo.
“We’re really surprised that a lot of people are ordering the custom dolls,” Whoopass Enterprises founder Jaeson Rosenfeld told RedEye. Joined by his girlfriend and best friend from high school, the 31-year-old ex-consultant moved from Logan Square to Guadalajara, Mexico, to start production.
One recent bobblehead order asked for crossed eyes to depict a drunk friend. Another customer wanted the human head put on a donkey next to a beer keg.
Individual dolls cost $39.95, and full-body customized dolls cost $70. And there are discounts for bulk orders if you like yourself enough to pass them out as gifts.
