Paul Frederick Schwartz, age 86. Beloved husband of Loraine, nee Oldenburg for 63 years; loving father of Lynn (Irv Mandelberg) Merryl, Gail Muffitt, Lauren (Matt) Pertchi and Rick Schwartz; devoted grandfather of ten; great-grandfather of five; dear brother of Betty (the late William) Wind, Helen (the late Howard) Greenlee, the late Victor (the late Mildred) Schwartz, and the late Enid Gribin; fond uncle of many. He served his country with pride in WWII, receiving the Bronze Star. He was an active member of Park Lawn Association for 40 years, serving as president on several committees. He was a partner in Hayes Statistical Service Corporation, Chicago, IL. Visitation at the Schmaedeke Funeral Home, 10701 S. Harlem Ave., Worth, Tuesday 3 to 9 p.m. Lying in state at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 7800 McCarthy Rd., Palos Heights, Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004 from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Interment Bethania Cemetery.
