Dorothy Singer Simon, 92, of Highland Park died December 24 in Palm Springs, CA. She will be remembered as a beautiful, gracious woman, devoted to family and friends. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Singer, and by her great-grandson, Ezra Budiansky. She is survived by her husband, Albert Simon Jr. of Highland Park; daughter, Patricia Singer (Roger) Golden of Santa Monica, CA; son, James R. (Susan) Singer of Highland Park; granddaughters, Alisa (Michael) Budiansky of Albany, CA, Nina (Jason Rosenbaum) Golden of Los Angeles, and Jodi (Peter) Mordini of Highland Park; five greatgrandchildren; and Al’s sons, Linn (Susan) Simon of Lenox, MA, and Albert (Judy) Simon III of Highland Park. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. January 12 at North Shore Congregation Israel, Glencoe, followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
