Arthur Robert Steitz, passed away in peace on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, in San Antonio, TX. A lifelong resident of Chicago and Wood Dale, IL, he became a Texan April 1, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Rita Louise Steitz, whom he married Sept. 11, 1955; sons, Martin John (Anne), Matthew Patrick, Peter Andrew (Harumi) and Karen Louise Steitz and Angela Steitz (Darrell) Knowles; and sister, Louise Geier. He will also be greatly missed by six loving grandchildren. Mr. Steitz was a Production Director in the publishing industry until he relocated to San Antonio to pursue a career as Businessman and Marketer of his invention “The MagLoader”. A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, San Antonio, TX.
