Dorothy M. Callaghan, nee Leaheey, 86, of Gurnee and formerly of Chicago, died peacefully Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004 at her home, with her family at her side. Dorothy is survived by her children, Rose Mohr, Patricia (Thomas) Hanrahan, Martin (Mary Kay) Callaghan, Joan (William) Doherty, Thomas (Virginia) Callaghan, Gerald (Carol) Callaghan, and Michael (Kim) Callaghan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin, Feb. 13, 2001; a sister, Alice Leaheey and two brothers, John and George Leaheey. Visitation will be Sunday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Gurnee-Salata Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Av. and Monday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Wadsworth for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
