Rene Ferguson, 57, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, Jan. 4 at her home in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Rene is survived by her husband David; her daughter Rawea and her son Jamie; her grandchildren Harmony and Max; and her brothers and sisters. Those who knew her will remember her adventurous spirit, strength and enthusiasm for life. She was well loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was surrounded by loved ones in her final days and was buried in Zihuatanejo on Jan. 5 at sundown. Her spirit survives in those who loved her and we trust her next journey will be as wonderful as her first.
