William T. Grace, 68, of Griffith, IN, formerly of Dolton and Lansing area, passed suddenly at his home in Griffith on Friday, January 9, 2004. He was a pipefitter with Local #597 in Chicago for many years before retiring, a member of Dolton Elks Club, the Knights of Columbus, and the Piskateers of Dolton. He is survived by his daughters Pauline Slager and Jennifer (Gregory) Mazurek, both of Crete, IL, and sons William P. (Teresa) Grace of Grainger, IN and Russell (Martha) Grace of Cypress, CA; also by six grandchildren; and a brother, Robert C. (Sharon) Grace. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13, 2004 from 2 to 9 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, January 14, 2004 at the Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main St. (Dixie Highway), Crete, IL 60417.
