It’s hard to believe, but Jack Black is having trouble finding a movie deal.
Of course, this is no ordinary movie he’s shopping to the studios. Black is trying to pitch his finished script for “Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny,” Zap2It reports.
“The weird thing is, nobody that’s read it likes it so far,” says Black, who would star in the film with Tenacious D bandmate Kyle Gass.
Still, Black remains optimistic.
“It’s going to be the ‘Citizen Kane’ of rock movies,” he says. “It has the potential to not just be the best movie ever, but one of the great things ever. Like the pyramids.”
