Now that Pete Rose has finally done the right thing and admitted that he bet on baseball games, after 14 years of repeatedly and arrogantly lying through his teeth about it, baseball should mirror Rose’s example, and do the right thing: Make an exception to its rules and reinstate Rose–in another 14 years, when Rose is 76.
