The Wolves stifled the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks in the third period Sunday, killing a five-minute power play and a two-minute, two-man advantage to hold on for a 3-2 victory at the Allstate Arena.

The Wolves won for the sixth time in the last seven home games. “We made it way more stressful than it should have been,” coach John Anderson said.

The Wolves scored the winner on Steve Maltais’ goal on a power play with a second left in the second period.
