Gregory J. Schlesinger, 55, of Evanston, passed away January 9, 2004, after a brief battle with brain cancer. Beloved husband of Dr. Constance Blade; loving father of Nicholas, Brian and David; cherished grandfather of Leo; dear brother of Morley Schlesinger, and adored son of Alvin and Florence Schlesinger. He was a well respected Defense Attorney in Chicago and former Cook County States Attorney. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2004, at Beth Emet Synagogue, 1224 Dempster St., Evanston, IL 60201.
