Jerome “Red” Brenman, age 83, of Mission Hills in Northbrook, IL, formerly of Gary and Munster, IN. Son of the late Morris and Dora Brenman; was loved by wife Carol; children, Marley and Allan Korn, Mark Brenman, Larry and Debbie Brenman; grandchildren, Melanie Cott, Amy and Juan Carlos Duque, Patrick Cott, Adam Brenman, Shira Brenman, Brittani and Danielle Steinberg; great-grandchildren, Lily and Noah Cott, Jeremy and Olivia Duque; and sister-in-law, Doretta Shneider. He proudly served in the 101st Airborne during WWII, and was awarded a Bronze Star. President of Brenman Insurance Services, Inc., and formerly an owner of Gary Wine & Liquor. Longtime member and past president of both Temple Israel in Gary, IN, and the Northwest Indiana Jewish Welfare Federation.
