Charles T. Mack, age 82, beloved husband of the late Catherine, nee Hoyler; loving father of Charles R. (Judi), Paul C. (Nancy), Donald W. (Denise) and Robert L.; proud grandfather of Erin, Allison, Emily and Adam; dear brother of Oscar (Margaret) and the late Norman, Firman and Marvin; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday 8:45 a.m. from Blake-Lamb/Becvar Funeral Home, 11201 S. Harlem, Worth, to Incarnation Church. Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 3 to 9 p.m. Masses preferred. Mr. Mack was born July 8, 1921 in Chicago, IL, the son of Oscar Bradford Mack and Alice Anketel Mack. He was joined in marriage on Nov. 8, 1941 to Catherine Grace Hoyler Mack, who preceded him in death. Mr. Mack was a past Grand Knight of Archangel Council Knights of Columbus and also was 4th Degree member of the Samuel Cardinal Stritch General Assembly Knights of Columbus. Mr. Mack was employed starting in 1952 at Oak Forest Hospital as a Stationary Engineer and retired from there as a Chief Engineer in 1980. He then was employed at the Highland Park Hospital in 1980 as the Manager of Plant Operations. He retired as the Manager of both the Plant Operations and Maintenance Operations Departments. He was a senior member of the American Society for Hospital Engineering, Secretary of Executive Hospital Engineers Society, a member of the American Institute of Plant Engineers and a member of ASHRAE.
