Robert O. Boehm, age 80, of Madison, WI, formerly of Highland Park and Lake Forest, IL, died on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003 at Oakwood Village Nursing Home in Madison. He was born Dec. 28, 1922 in Highland Park and married Dorothy, nee Hobbs, on Sept. 14, 1946 in Evanston, IL. He attended the University of Wisconsin and then worked in the commercial real estate market. He also served as Captain in the Army-Air Force during World War II. Robert was a loving father and grandfather and is survived by his girlfriend, Elizabeth Troia; children, Jack (Sue) Boehm, Julie (Bruce) Huebner, Mary Sarin, Elyse (John) Tadel and Cathy (Greg) Adamsick; a brother, William (Pat) Boehm; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edgar Boehm and Kurt Boehm; and sister, Dorthea Rietz. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004 at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Forest, IL. Arrangements were made by Cress Funeral Home, 608-238-3434 .
