Lyle E. “Bill” George, of Park Ridge, passed away Jan. 15, 2004. Beloved husband of Joan, nee Kurth; loving father of Timothy (Brenda) and Susan (Ron) Zandstra; dear grandfather of Kelley and Kristen George; fond brother of Aliene Smith, Burrell (Rosemary), the late Bettie Hinrichsen, Adria White, Kelso, Edward and Lloyd “Bob”; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Monday 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 205 N. Prospect, Park Ridge. Lying in state 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment Town of Maine Cemetery.
