Lawrence John Hammerbacker, age 81, of Elgin, IL and Menahga, MN on January 18, 2004. Preceded in death by wife, Barbara; brother, Clyde and granddaughter, Sarah. Survived by daughter, Elizabeth (Steve) Hill; grandchildren, Christopher and Daniel Hill. Lawrence was a high school math teacher for over 30 years in Glenview and Northbrook, Illinois. Funeral service Thursday, 7 p.m. at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave., Apple Valley, MN. Visitation 2 hours prior to sevice.
