I am outraged that people think that the opposition to wearing fur has somehow gone away and that the “fashionistas” in their 20s and 30s can now comfortably don the coat that once belonged to someone else without guilt, remorse or even a thought.

This generation been described as the “me generation” and I don’t always believe that; but in this case, if the “skin” fits, then wear it.

They may enjoy avoiding the deeper issues of the ethics of killing fur-bearing animals for their “fun furs,” but there are many of us out here who are not only repulsed by the idea but as well by the marketing of such products to those who would be duped.

And they always think they are smarter than some of us in the older generations.
