Theodore E. “Ted” Moravec, age 77, husband of Rita, nee Kern; father of Ted (Jan), Steve (Chandra) and Patty Moravec; grandfather of Charles, Mackenzie, Maya and Eva; brother of Terry (Carolyn) and Marge Moravec; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mr. Moravec was a WWII Navy Veteran. He retired from Allstate Insurance after 31 years. A Proclaimer at Holy Family Church and very active in Sr. Ministry and Ministry Care. He also loved woodworking and reading. Funeral Saturday 9:15 a.m. from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, to Holy Family Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment private.
