Why didn’t the Bears fire the Grand Ayatollah Angelo? Take his salary and the salary they would have been willing to pay for Nick Saban and make an offer to Jimmy Johnson. Make him head coach and GM–this would have gotten the fans excited.
But all the McCaskeys care about is taking the fans’ money so they can continue to lead the good life.
Why don’t they do all Bears fans a favor and sell the team to someone who cares and knows what they’re doing.
