Wow, what a torrent of reaction in the Jan. 21 Voice of the people against Tribune staff reporter Wendy Navratil’s article on fur (“Fur’s hot again; The animal-rights message has skipped a generation,” Q, Jan. 18). Where’s the outrage over civilian deaths in Afghanistan? Where’s the outrage over 43 million uninsured Americans or over the impending food crisis in North Korea? Are human skins not worth the same effort as animal skins?
