It is very nice that the civilized folks living in North Shore communities don’t want handguns in their midst. After all, nice people don’t own or use handguns, not to mention that it is impossible to keep gun accidents from happening unless one exercises some degree of common safety sense.
Perhaps the man who reportedly shot a burglar in his home should have engaged the intruder in polite conversation while dialing 911 and letting the bad guy cave his head in with something.
Maybe nice people shouldn’t have alarm systems either.
