Alan G. Medwick, 52, of St. Charles, passed away peacefully at his home January 23, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was Assistant Superintendent of the Regional Office of Education for DuPage County, former business manager of SASED and former principal of Queen Bee School. Beloved husband of Joanna, nee Angelacos; loving father of James and John; son of Margaret, nee Karney, Medwick and the late George Medwick; brother of Thomas; son-in-law of Toula Angelacos and the late John Angelacos; fond brother-in-law of Sandra and Jerome Tutskey and Leon Angelacos and Cathy and John Sarama. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Church, 408 Cedar St., St. Charles. Interment private. Visitation 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles.
