Blanche Schmiedeke, nee Tschannen, age 80, of Chicago, formerly of Highland and Naperville, IL, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004 at her home, beloved wife of 54 years to Herb; cherished mother and mother-in-law of Carolyn and Gary Hagopian. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, John and Anna, nee Plocher, Tschannen; her dear brothers, Floyd, John and Roland Tschannen; and sister, Ethel Tuffli. A ceremony celebrating her life will be held at the Hyatt Lodge at 2815 Jorie Blvd., Oak Brook, IL on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
