The kid-friendly opera “The Magic Flute” will be performed in English at 2 p.m. Sunday in Highland Park Community House, 1991 Sheridan Rd., Highland Park. The opera features mythical beasts, wicked women and talking birdmen. A question-and-answer session will follow the performance. Tickets are $12. Call 847-433-6430.
