Passed Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Loving husband of Ruth E., nee Brunner, Topping; dearest father of Jim (Sheri) of Mt. Vernon, IL, Mark (Michele) of Dallas, TX, and Lara Topping of New York city, NY; fond grandfather of Heather, Darren, Jack and Tommy; brother of James (Lea) Topping of Alexandria, VA, and Mary Jane Topping of Elmira, NY. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004 from 3 to 7 p.m., with a 7 p.m. memorial service at the Beecher Funeral Home, 602 S. Dixie Hwy., Beecher, IL 60401. Interment will be private.
