Catherine V. Neff, 94, of Oswego, passed away peacefully Monday, January 26, 2004 in Yorkville, IL. She was born July 29, 1909 in Manchester, CT. Catherine is survived by her son, Lawrence (Nancy) Neff Jr. of Oswego, IL; her two granddaughters, Amy (Ben) Cano and Melissa (Robert) Gonzales; a nephew, Dr. William Carney of Avon, CT and a grand nephew, Rob Carney of Boston; one grand niece, Audrey Carney of N.Y., N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Virginia Carney of Avon, CT; a very special buddy Rolland Less Jr. of Chicago. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Neff Sr.; two brothers, John and Robert Carney. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL. Funeral service will be on Thursday, January 29 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL at 10 a.m. Interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
