Florence C. Ellenberg, nee Moran, 90, of Valparaiso, IN, formerly of Maywood, IL, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004. She was born June 21, 1913 in Chicago, the daughter of Francis and Ann, nee Callon, Moran. She graduated from Oak Park High School, had worked in sales at Marshall Field’s first suburban store in Oak Park, IL and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Valparaiso. On July 22, 1935 in Melrose Park, IL she married Frederic Ellenberg who preceded her in death in 1988. Survivors include one daughter, Beth Rader of Valparaiso; three grandchildren, Dr. Andrew (Rachelle) Rader, Sharon (Kim) Hoffman, Julie Rader-Sullivan; and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held Friday 2 p.m. at Immanual Lutheran Church, Rev. Donald Williams officiating with cremation to follow at Angelcrest Crematory at Moeller Funeral Home. Visitation Friday from Noon to 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
