Regarding “The living isn’t easy,” I find it very interesting that the writer totally ignored the obvious. This piece is very timely, especially just after President Bush’s State of the Union address, in which he asked that we allow millions of illegal immigrants to remain in this country (and more to enter) to fill jobs that he implied that Americans won’t do. Obviously these three Americans would be very happy to have those jobs.
Reporter Bonnie Miller Rubin should have addressed the very real possibility that illegal immigration could and most likely does contribute to these brothers’ plight.
