Robert Lee Bird, formerly of Chicago Heights, IL, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004 in Grand Rapids, MI. His death was preceded by wife Marcia, nee Fischbach; parents Lester and Ellen Bird; and sister Kathleen Bird Chahel. He is survived by his in-laws Cathleen (Dave) Hanna of Wilmette and Victor (Diane) Fischbach of Ipswich, MA; he is also survived by his biological family, Lucille Vance, Larry and Susan Vance, Robert and Judy Vander Zwart and Sharon Stellini; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 in the Chapel of Peace at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, IL.
