This is regarding “CTA tells its riders where to get off,” by Jon Hilkevitch, Tribune transportation reporter (Metro, Jan. 27), about CTA automated announcements.
I applaud the efforts of the CTA to encourage politeness and courtesy on public transportation.
I am a daily rider, and there is a sad lack of common courtesy and, often, even basic civility.
